31.23

（述曰。經論所出皆不能一唯俱舍立世略同。佛所說義不應有異。要是部主聽受機見有別。而譯師今古措辭之不同也）。

(The author comments: What appears in the sūtras and treatises cannot all be unified; only the Kośa and the Lishi [lun] roughly agree. What the Buddha taught ought not to have discrepancies; it is simply that the masters of the schools had differences in the capacities and views with which they received it, and the translators of past and present phrased it differently.)
