古長城。戰國時趙築之。自代並陰山至高闕（二州名）以備胡。燕亦築媯州之北至遼東。秦始皇令蒙恬築長城。起臨洮入高麗。

The Ancient Great Wall: During the Warring States period, Zhao built it, from Dai along the Yin Mountains to Gaoque (two prefecture names), to defend against the Hu. Yan also built one north of Gui Prefecture extending to Liaodong. The First Emperor of Qin ordered Meng Tian to construct the Great Wall, beginning at Lintao and entering Gaoli.
