I comment: Examining the Yijian zhi, it records that Old Woman Wang of Ezhou frequently bought paper money to send to the nether-treasury, ordering her servant Li Da to write and sign for it on her behalf. When the old woman died, Li suddenly fell ill and collapsed to the ground. Reviving after three days, he said that he was arrested by the underworld administration and brought to the treasury office to identify the signatures. Li said, 'These were written by me on behalf of my mistress.' He was led to see an official in purple and gold, and the questioning was as before. The official said, 'We only summoned you to verify this matter; you may be sent back.' As he was about to leave, the old woman arrived, overjoyed, and said, 'Thanks to your coming, my treasury deposits finally have a destination.' When people today are fond of arranging pre-cultivated treasury deposits, they should take the Wangsheng jing as their authority and the Yijian zhi as their proof.
