34.11

菩薩已從此沒生於人間淨飯王家。乘栴檀樓閣處摩耶夫人胎（華嚴經○栴檀香木此云與樂。摩耶此云大幼。佛所生母也）。

The bodhisattva, having died from there, was born in the human world into the household of King Śuddhodana, riding a sandalwood multi-storied pavilion to abide in Lady Māyā's womb (Avataṃsaka-sūtra. ○ Sandalwood is a fragrant wood, translated here as 'bestower of joy.' 'Māyā' is translated here as 'great young woman,' the mother who gave birth to the Buddha).
