二年。老君降天台山。以大洞靈寶經授仙人葛玄。及上清齋法並三籙金籙保鎮國祚。玉籙保佑貴族。黃籙拔度七祖。復授感應篇。示世人罪福為善去惡之事。

In the second year, Laozi descended to Mount Tiantai and bestowed the Dadong lingbao jing (Scripture of the Great Cavern of Numinous Treasure) upon the immortal Ge Xuan, as well as the Shangqing fasting rituals and the Three Registers: the Golden Register to protect and stabilize the state's mandate, the Jade Register to protect and aid the nobility, and the Yellow Register to deliver the seven generations of ancestors. He further bestowed the Ganying pian (Treatise on Action and Response), showing worldly people the matters of sin and blessing, doing good and removing evil.
