九年。洛陽大疫。西竺沙門呵羅竭。持呪法加水以治之。所遇者皆差（楚𠎿反愈也）。

In the ninth year, a great pestilence struck Luoyang. The Western Indian monk Haluojie recited mantras over water to cure it, and all whom he treated recovered (cha, with the initial chu and final wa, means 'to heal').
