建元元年。帝幸莊嚴寺聽僧達法師講維摩經。御座稍遠。中書令張緒。請遷席以隣帝座。
In the first year of Jianyuan, the Emperor visited Zhuangyan Monastery to hear Dharma Master Sengda lecture on the *Vimalakīrti Sūtra*. The imperial seat was somewhat distant, and Director of the Secretariat Zhang Xu requested that the lecturer's mat be moved closer to the imperial throne.
