景平元年。罽賓沙門佛陀什。於揚都龍光寺譯五分律（南山云。四部之文無越斯律但弘通蓋寡。良可長歎）。

In the first year of Jingping, the Kaśmīra monk Buddhajīva translated the Mahiśāsaka-vinaya (Five-Part Vinaya) at Longguang Monastery in the capital of Yang. (Nanshan says: 'Among the texts of the four divisions, none surpasses this Vinaya, yet those who propagate it are exceedingly few—truly worthy of a deep sigh!')
