久視元年四月。詔斂天下僧尼日一錢。作大像於白司馬坂（音反）○詔義淨三藏。於東都譯金光明最勝王經。天后製聖教序。

In the fourth month of the first year of the Jiushi reign era, an imperial decree ordered that one coin a day be collected from monks and nuns across the realm to fashion a colossal image at the Baishima slope. An imperial decree commanded Tripiṭaka Master Yijing to translate the Suvarṇaprabhāsottamarāja-sūtra in the Eastern Capital. The Heavenly Empress composed an imperial preface to the holy teaching.
