六年。亢旱。詔曇延法師於正殿。升御座南面授法。帝及群臣。咸席地受八關齋戒。俄而雲興大雨霑霔。
Sixth year. There was a severe drought. An edict ordered Dharma Master Tanyan to ascend the imperial throne facing south in the main palace hall to confer the Dharma. The Emperor and all his ministers sat on the ground and received the Eightfold Fasting Precepts. Soon, clouds arose, and heavy rain poured down.
