4.49

贊曰。能仁寂默。成佛久遠。仁賢劫波。乘時利見。一代施化。歸宗開顯。天人群生。咸開宿願。所應度畢。示迹泥洹。不生不滅。常在靈山。未來修學。盈滿世間。共期佛慧。爰獨真丹。

The appraisal says: / The Capable and Benevolent One, silent and serene, / attained Buddhahood in the remote past. / In the Bhadrakalpa, / seizing the proper time, he made his beneficial appearance. / Giving transformations throughout his entire life, / he opened and revealed [the truth] to return to the source. / Devas, humans, and all living beings / all opened their past vows. / Those who should be saved having all been delivered, / he manifested the trace of nirvāṇa. / Neither born nor extinguished, / he constantly abides on Vulture Peak. / Future practitioners / fill the world; / together aspiring to the Buddha's wisdom, / why only in Cīnasthāna?
