十四年二月。般若三藏澄觀法師等進新譯華嚴經四十卷（此經三譯。晉譯六十卷。唐武后朝八十卷。今德宗朝四十卷。并普賢行願品一卷）。

In the second month of the fourteenth year, Tripiṭaka Master Prajñā, Master Chengguan, and others presented the newly translated Avataṃsaka Sūtra in forty rolls (this sūtra had three translations: sixty rolls in the Jin translation, eighty rolls under Empress Wu of the Tang, and now forty rolls under Emperor Dezong, together with one roll of 'The Practices and Vows of Samantabhadra').
