咸通三年。勅兩街四寺各建戒壇度僧。帝於禁中設講座自唱經題。手錄梵文。數幸諸寺行施。
In the third year of Xiantong, it was decreed that four temples in the Two Streets should each erect ordination platforms to ordain monks. Within the forbidden precinct, the Emperor established lecture seats, personally chanting sūtra titles and copying Sanskrit texts by hand. He frequently visited various temples to make donations.
