42.62

大順二年。袁州仰山慧寂禪師入寂。師稟法為溈山。世稱溈仰宗。初領徒住王莽山一日禪床陷於地。山神者以不堪居止。東南有大仰山。為世福地。遂遷居焉。久之眾盛居隘。山神一夕移廟於堵田三十里。以避之（南岳下第五世）。

In the second year of Dashun, Chan Master Huiji of Mount Yang in Yuanzhou entered nirvana. The Master received the Dharma from Guishan; the world speaks of the Guiyang school. Initially leading disciples to reside on Mount Wangmang, one day his meditation platform sank into the earth. The mountain spirit considered the place unsuitable for habitation, and [indicated that] to the southeast lay Mount Dayang, a worldly field of merit; so he relocated there. After some time, the assembly grew numerous and quarters became cramped; in a single night, the mountain spirit moved his shrine thirty li to Dutian to make way for them (fifth generation under Nanyue).
