寶歷元年。勅兩街建方等戒壇。左街安國寺。右街興福寺。以中護軍劉規充左右街功德使。擇戒行者為大德。令試童子能背誦經百五十紙。女童誦百紙者。許與剃度。

In the first year of Baoli, an imperial decree ordered the Two Streets to establish universal ordination platforms: Anguo Monastery on the Left Street and Xingfu Monastery on the Right Street. Liu Gui, Commander of the Middle Palace Guards, was appointed Commissioner of Merit and Virtue for the Left and Right Streets. Those possessing vinaya conduct were selected as Venerables. It was ordered that male postulants who could recite 150 sheets of sūtra from memory and female postulants who could recite 100 sheets be permitted to have their hair shaved and receive ordination.
