The appraisal states: During the reign of Taizong, auspicious stones were obtained twice, both proclaiming 'twenty-one emperors of the Zhao.' The tribute from Jiazhou might still be called human fabrication, but as for the offering from Shuzhou, with the record of Master Zhi and the personal pointing of the extraordinary monk, it cannot be called human fabrication. And when Master Zhi descended into the imperial palace and his treasured instructions were heard, an envoy was sent to Mount Zhong to offer a vegetarian feast in thanksgiving—if not for the sincere resonance of the sage Son of Heaven, how could it have come to this?
