五年。詔遣內侍俞源清往四明延慶請法智法師。領眾修法華懺。為國祈福。師為述修懺要旨上之○詔於并州建資聖禪院。為將士戰亡者追福○門下侍郎平章事丁謂兼譯經潤文使。翰林學士晁逈李維兼潤文官。

In the fifth year, an imperial decree sent the inner attendant Yu Yuanqing to Yanqing in Siming to invite Dharma Master Fazhi to lead the assembly in cultivating the Lotus Repentance to pray for blessings for the state. The Master composed the Essential Meaning of Cultivating Repentance and presented it to the throne. ○ An edict was issued to build the Zisheng Chan Cloister in Bingzhou to seek posthumous blessings for soldiers killed in battle. ○ Ding Wei, Vice Director of the Chancellery and Joint Manager of Affairs with the Secretariat-Chancellery, concurrently served as Translation and Polishing Commissioner; Hanlin Academicians Chao Jiong and Li Wei concurrently served as Polishing Officials.
