述曰。學道之士以貧為德。此世人之常所知敬也。招提數十擔。卒為溫公見薄。一眚掩大德。可不戒之哉。
The commentary says: A practitioner of the Way takes poverty as virtue; this is what worldly people normally know and respect. Those dozens of carrying-poles for Zhaoti [Monastery] caused him to be slighted in the end by Duke Wen. A single fault conceals great virtue; how could one not take warning from this?
