詔衡州迎常寧資福寺玉塔入京師。塔高一尋。累以玉石。阿育王所造第九塔也。或夜中騰光明。且往瞻敬者。必獲舍利○日本國沙門成尋來朝。

An edict ordered Héngzhōu to escort the jade pagoda of Zīfú Monastery in Chángníng into the capital. The pagoda was one xún high, built by stacking jade and stones, and was the ninth pagoda built by King Aśoka. At times it radiated light in the night; moreover, those who went to gaze upon and revere it were certain to obtain relics. ○ The Japanese monk Jōjin came to court.
