元豐元年三月。杭州雷峯慧才法師。為靈芝元照道俗千人授菩薩戒。羯磨之際見觀音像放光講堂大明。淨慈法真禪師守一作戒光記。米芾書。辯才法師立石於龍井。

In the third month of the first year of the Yuánfēng era, Dharma Master Huìcái of Léifēng in Hángzhōu conferred the bodhisattva precepts on a thousand clerics and laypeople from Língzhī Yuánzhào. At the time of the karmavācanā, the image of Guānyīn was seen emitting light, illuminating the lecture hall brightly. Chan Master Fǎzhēn Shǒuyī of Jìngcí composed the 'Record of the Precept Light', Mǐ Fú wrote it out in calligraphy, and Dharma Master Biàncái erected a stele at Lóngjǐng.
