考異曰。鄭景望家集言。茅君下生張師正。括異志則云南岳李仙。此兩者必一。于是今觀樂史感夢近於恍惚。未若自英升神所遇之為實也。矧惟　真廟拜章於當年。　仁后錫號於茲日。皆所以表正其事。則宜以鄭氏所紀為實。

Textual Critique: The collected works of Zheng Jingwang's family say that Lord Mao was reborn as Zhang Shizheng, while the Kuoyi zhi says he was the Immortal Li of the Southern Marchmount. Between these two, one must be correct. Looking now at Yue Shi's dream-resonance, it borders on the vague and indistinct; it is not as factual as what Ziying encountered when ascending in spirit. Moreover, Zhenzong's offering of the memorial in that year and Empress Ren's conferral of the title on this day both serve to corroborate and rectify this matter; therefore, what was recorded by Mr. Zheng should be taken as the truth.
