靖康元年正月。金虜犯闕。二月金虜退○詔曰。比自大觀初聖節行香。許就道觀。今後道君聖節仍就道觀。若乾龍節仍就佛寺建道場。一月一依祖宗舊法。其道士官階並與追毀○十一月金虜再犯闕。詔皇弟康王為天下兵馬大元帥。

In the first year of Jingkang, in the first month, the Jin barbarians attacked the capital. In the second month, the Jin barbarians withdrew. An imperial decree stated: 'Recently, since the beginning of Daguan, offering incense on imperial birthdays was permitted to be carried out at Daoist abbeys. From now on, the Daoist Emperor's imperial birthday shall still be held at Daoist abbeys; as for the Qianlong Festival, the bodhimaṇḍa shall still be established at Buddhist monasteries. On the first day of the month, one should completely follow the old ancestral system. The official ranks of Daoist priests shall all be revoked.' In the eleventh month, the Jin barbarians attacked the capital again. An imperial decree appointed the imperial younger brother, the Prince of Kang, as Grand Marshal of the Armies and Horses of the Realm.
