北魏孝文。詔德法師一月三入殿說法。帝數幸王園寺。與沙門談論佛法○幸白塔寺聽登法師講成實論○詔四月八日迎洛京諸寺佛像。入閶闔宮受散花禮敬○宣武御式乾殿講維摩經。西域沙門至者三千人。

Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei decreed that Dharma Master De enter the palace three times a month to preach the Dharma. The emperor frequently visited Wangyuan Monastery to discuss the Buddha's Dharma with monks. He visited Baita Monastery to listen to Dharma Master Deng lecture on the Tattvasiddhi-śāstra. An edict ordered that on the eighth day of the fourth month, Buddha statues from the monasteries of Luoyang be welcomed into the Changhe Palace to receive offerings of scattered flowers and reverence. Emperor Xuanwu presided in the Shiqian Hall to lecture on the Vimalakīrti Sūtra; three thousand monks from the Western Regions arrived.
