宋太宗。命徐鉉王禹稱校正道經。刪去重複。為三千三百三十七卷。○真宗命王欽若定羅天醮儀。選道士十人。校錄道藏經御製序。○神宗詔道門職事試道德南華度人三經。○徽宗詔老君名字士庶不得犯○詔列子莊子陪享太上。○詔建道學科。治老莊列子書。置道階十士。○詔封莊子列子為真君。○詔罷黃老學。

Emperor Taizong of the Song ordered Xu Xuan and Wang Yucheng to collate the Daoist scriptures, excising duplicates, resulting in 3,337 rolls. Emperor Zhenzong ordered Wang Qinruo to establish the ritual protocol for the Great Heaven Offering (Luotian jiao), selected ten Daoist masters to catalog the Daoist Canon, and personally composed an imperial preface. Emperor Shenzong decreed that Daoist clerical officials be tested on the three scriptures: the Daode [jing], the Nanhua [jing], and the Duren [jing]. Emperor Huizong decreed that scholar-officials and commoners were forbidden to infringe upon the personal names of Lord Lao. He decreed that Liezi and Zhuangzi accompany the worship of the Supreme Sovereign. He decreed the establishment of a curriculum of Daoist studies to study the writings of Laozi, Zhuangzi, and Liezi, and established ten ranks of Daoist officials. He decreed that Zhuangzi and Liezi be enfeoffed as Perfected Lords. He decreed the abolition of the study of Huang-Lao.
