唐玄宗。葉法善見老君。入西山修道。尸解仙去○李筌遇驪山老母為說陰符經義。後入名山訪道○召方士張果入見。與董汁三巵（附子酒也）。醺然如醉曰。非嘉酒也。後入恒山○司馬承禎上遣使迎至京。受法[竺-二+祿]。有仙女謂焦靜曰。子可謁東華青童君受三皇法。歸而謁之。先生欣然以授○敬宗崔元亮修黃籙道場。有鶴三百六十五隻。翔集壇所。一朱頂皓白竟集虛皇座。後元亮入室。誦黃庭經而化○宣宗召羅浮軒轅集入見。問臨天下之數。集橫書四十。乃十四年也○懿宗鐘離權自稱。漢時遇王玄得長生之道。呂巖者遇權授露寶畢法。謂曰。吾朝元有期。即有仙人迎之升天。洞賓客遊江淮。度何仙姑郭上竈施肩吾。○景宗呂洞賓過鄂州黃龍山見機禪師述偈（云云）。

Under Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang, Ye Fashan saw Lord Lao, entered the Western Mountains to cultivate the Dao, and departed as an immortal through corpse-liberation. Li Quan encountered the Old Mother of Mount Li, who explained the meaning of the Yinfujing to him; later he entered famous mountains to seek the Dao. The Emperor summoned the arts master Zhang Guo to an imperial audience and gave him three goblets of aconite broth (namely, aconite wine); tipsy as if intoxicated, Zhang said: 'This is not fine wine.' Later he entered Mount Heng. Sima Chengzhen was summoned and escorted to the capital by envoys sent by the Emperor, and received registers of the methods. An immortal maiden said to Jiao Jing: 'You may pay homage to the Azure Lad Lord of Eastern Flora to receive the method of the Three Sovereigns.' When he returned and paid homage, the master delighted and conferred it upon him. Under Emperor Jingzong, Cui Yuanliang cultivated the Daoist site of the Yellow Register; 365 cranes soared and gathered at the altar site, and one with a vermilion crown and brilliant white body ultimately gathered upon the throne of the Sovereign of Emptiness; later Yuanliang entered the chamber, recited the Yellow Court Scripture, and was transformed. Under Emperor Xuanzong, Xianyuan Ji of Luofu was summoned to an imperial audience; asked about the number of years the Emperor would rule the realm, Ji wrote forty horizontally, which signified fourteen years. Under Emperor Yizong, Zhongli Quan claimed that in the Han dynasty he encountered Wang Xuan and attained the way of longevity; Lü Yan encountered Quan, who conferred upon him the Complete Method of Dew and Treasure and said to him: 'My audience with the Primordial has an appointed time'; thereupon immortals came to welcome him and he ascended to heaven. Dongbin wandered as a traveler through the Yangtze and Huai regions, converting Immortal Maiden He, Guo Shangzao, and Shi Jianwu. Under Emperor Jingzong, Lü Dongbin passed by Huanglong Mountain in Ezhou, saw Chan Master Ji, and composed verses (and so forth).
