梁武帝。夢釋迦檀像入國。乃遣郝騫等西行求像至舍衛國。天監十年負像東還。帝率百僚迎入太極殿○西天沙門自圖形於吳中靈岩寺。像夜起行道。梵僧云。是智積菩薩。

Emperor Wu of the Liang dreamed that a sandalwood image of Śākya entered his realm. Thereupon he dispatched Hao Qian and others west to seek the image, reaching the country of Śrāvastī. In the tenth year of the Tianjian era, they bore the image on their backs and returned east. The Emperor led the hundred officials to welcome it into the Taiji Palace. ○ An Indian monk painted his own portrait at Lingyan Temple in the Wu region. The image arose at night and circumambulated [the hall]. A monk from Tianzhu said, "This is Bodhisattva Zhiji (Jñānākara)."
