唐高祖。幸國學。命博士徐曠沙門惠乘道士劉進善講說○太宗詔祭酒孔頴達沙門惠淨道士蔡晃。入弘文談論三教　德宗聖節勅給事中徐岳沙門覃延道士葛參成。講論三教　勅沙門端甫。入內殿與儒道論議。

Emperor Gaozu of the Tang visited the Directorate of Education and ordered the erudite Xu Kuang, the monk Huicheng, and the Daoist Liu Jinshan to deliver lectures. Emperor Taizong decreed that the Chancellor of the Directorate Kong Yingda, the monk Huijing, and the Daoist Cai Huang enter the Hongwen Academy to discuss the Three Teachings. On his birthday, Emperor Dezong decreed that Supervising Secretary Xu Yue, the monk Tanyan, and the Daoist Ge Sancheng lecture on and discuss the Three Teachings. He also decreed that the monk Duanfu enter the inner palace to debate with Confucians and Daoists.
