Lodging in the Mother's Womb (The Awakening of Faith has 'dwelling in the womb'; the Avataṃsaka-sūtra says that having dwelled in the mother's womb, he manifested leaving home; the Sūtra of Cause and Effect mentions walking, standing, sitting, and lying down in the womb, and expounding the Dharma for the gods. Thus we know that both Mahāyāna and Hīnayāna include dwelling in the womb)
