Prince Qiao was Crown Prince Jin of King Ling. He was fond of playing the mouth organ (sheng) to imitate the call of the phoenix. The Daoist Fuqiu Gong took him up Mount Song for thirty years. He said to Huan Liang: 'Inform my family to wait for me at Mount Goushi on the seventh day of the seventh month.' As expected, he mounted a white crane, raised his hands to bid farewell to the people of his day, and departed.
