In the second year, Dharma Master Zhu Qian passed away. An imperial decree stated: 'Dharma Master Qian cast aside the glory of a prime minister and followed the conduct of the dark robes. We were relying on his proclamation of the Way to rescue the multitude of beings, but he has suddenly passed away, which pains Our heart. Let fifty thousand coins be bestowed to assist in building his tomb and pagoda.'
