In the sixth year, Wen Yanbo, stationed at Wei Prefecture as an honorary chancellor, invited Chan Master Wenhui, Chongyuan, to reside at Tianbo Monastery. One day he came to take his leave, saying, 'I am departing into extinction.' Yanbo sent his son to attend upon him, and indeed he passed away while seated. In the summer heat, a fragrant breeze brushed against people. When the coffin was cremated, the smoke was pure white, and relics [fell] like rain. Yanbo went in person to observe, holding a lapis lazuli vase with his hands and praying over it; the smoke entered the vase, and relics filled it up.
