In the first year of Duanping, Dharma Master Shouyu of Lingshan memorialised that Great Master Fazhi of Yanqing in Siming had revived the doctrinal teachings and contemplations of the Tiantai school, and that his commentaries and records, comprising more than two hundred fascicles, should be entered into the Tripiṭaka and promulgated. An imperial decree granted approval.
