一世尊示滅之後。凡經百年必書。其於旃檀像及教被東土之年倣此。

1. After the Bhagavān's parinirvāṇa, every passage of a hundred years is invariably recorded; the auspicious sandalwood image and the years when the teaching reached the eastern land follow this pattern.
