（二）　沙門稠禪師乃魏跋陀三藏之資也。受具往嵩山少林。又抵覃懷王屋之柏岩寺。解二虎鬪。由是舉世知名。齊乾明元年示寂于龍山雲門寺。

(2) The śramaṇa Chan Master Chou was a disciple of the Tripiṭaka Bhadra of the Wei. Having received the full precepts, he went to Shaolin on Mount Song, and also reached Baiyan Temple on Mount Wangwu in Tanhuai, where he broke up a fight between two tigers. From this he became famous throughout the world. In the first year of the Qianming era of the Qi, he manifested passing away at Yunmen Temple on Mount Long.
