（一　庚戌）　睿宗旦改景雲（高宗第八子。初封豫王。武后廢中宗而立為帝者。七年而廢封相王。壽五十五。立隆基為太子。任宋璟姚崇為政。帝妹太平公主恃功專橫。在位三年）。

(1. Gengxu [710 CE]) Emperor Ruizong, [named] Dan, changed the era name to Jingyun. (He was the eighth son of Gaozong. He was initially enfeoffed as King of Yu. Empress Wu deposed Zhongzong and enthroned him as emperor; after seven years, he was deposed and enfeoffed as King of Xiang. His age was fifty-five. He established Longji as crown prince. He appointed Song Jing and Yao Chong to handle the government. The emperor's younger sister, Princess Taiping, relied on her achievements to behave arbitrarily and arrogantly.
