（乙巳）　光啟三月帝歸于京師○（十二月中宦田令孜討王重榮敗績帝奔于鳳翔。沙陀之兵入于京師。剽掠焚蕩。遂為兵墟焉。自是天下崩裂大亂）。

(Yisi) [885] Guangqi era. In the third month, the emperor returned to the capital. ○ (In the twelfth month, the palace eunuch Tian Lingzi launched a campaign against Wang Chongrong and suffered a defeat; the emperor fled to Fengxiang. The Shatuo troops entered the capital, pillaged and burned it, and it thereupon became a field of ruins. From this point on, the empire fell apart in great chaos).
