（丁丑）　漢龑（初名嵓隱之庶子。生于外舍。身長七尺。承父襲封南海王。是年建國。號越。二年更號漢。壽五十四卒。立三十一年。龑者蓋採周易飛龍在天之義爾）。

(Dingchou) Yan of Han (originally named Yan, an illegitimate son of Yin. Born in an external residence, he was seven feet tall. Inheriting from his father, he succeeded to the enfeoffment of King of Nanhai. In this year he founded a state, naming it Yue; in the second year he changed the name to Han. He died at the age of fifty-four, having reigned for thirty-one years. "Yan" was adopted from the meaning in the Book of Changes of "a flying dragon in the heavens").
