（十八　甲辰）　改景德○東吳僧道源。續開平以來宗師機緣。統集寶林聖胄等傳。為傳燈錄三十卷。詣闕進呈。帝覽之嘉賞。勅翰林楊億等刊正。并撰序頒行天下。

(18. Jia-chen [1004 CE]) The reign era was changed to Jingde. Monk Daoyuan of Dongwu continued the encounters of lineage masters since the Kaiping era, gathering together biographies such as the Baolin shengzhou, to make the Record of the Transmission of the Lamp in thirty fascicles. He went to the palace and presented it. The Emperor examined and commended it, ordering Hanlin Academician Yang Yi and others to edit and correct it, and also to write a preface and distribute it throughout the empire.
