（三十九）　比京天鉢寺重元禪師。出青州千乘縣孫氏。法嗣天衣。文潞公彥博出相鎮魏府。請住本寺。是夏別公示寂。茶毘烟到成舍利。公執瓶禱之。烟入。舍利填瓶。公乃竭志內典焉。

(39) Chan Master Zhongyuan of Tianbo Monastery in the Northern Capital: Born of the Sun family in Qiancheng County, Qingzhou, he was a Dharma heir of Tianyi. When Duke Wen of Lu, Yanbo, left court as chancellor to govern Weifu, he invited him to reside at his local monastery. That summer, he bade farewell to the Duke and entered quiescence. When he was cremated, wherever the smoke reached, relics (śarīra) formed. The Duke held a bottle and prayed to it; as the smoke entered, relics filled the bottle. The Duke thereupon devoted his mind wholeheartedly to the Buddhist scriptures.
