武丁（小乙子。以傳說為相。修德布政。天下咸歡。書曰。高宗諒闇三年君不言。禮云。三年之喪君不言。百官咸聽冢宰）治五十九年。壽一百歲。廟號高宗。

Wu Ding (son of Xiao Yi; took Fu Yue as prime minister, cultivated virtue, and disseminated proper governance so that all under heaven rejoiced. The Book of Documents says: Gaozong spent three years in mourning without speaking. The Rites state: During the three years of mourning the lord does not speak, and all officials heed the prime minister) ruled for 59 years, lived to the age of 100, and his temple title was Gaozong.
