20.35

（辛未）　九月上謂大臣曰。緣不度僧常住多有絕產。令戶部撥以瞻學（出宋史）○世尊示滅二千一百年矣。

(Xinwei) In the ninth month, the Emperor said to the grand ministers: 'Because monks are not ordained, the permanent property of monasteries has largely become abandoned. Let the Ministry of Revenue allocate it to support the government schools.' (From the Song History.) / It has been two thousand one hundred years since the Bhagavān demonstrated his decease.
