（壬辰）　正月駕幸靈隱。八月七日詔靈隱徑山天竺集內觀堂齋。宣靈隱惠遠。入東閣賜坐。咨論法要。十月三十特賜遠號佛海禪師。

[Renchen] In the first month, the imperial carriage visited Lingyin. On the seventh day of the eighth month, an imperial edict summoned the monks of Lingyin, Jingshan, and Tianzhu to assemble for a vegetarian banquet at the Neiguan Hall. An imperial decree summoned Huiyuan of Lingyin to enter the Eastern Pavilion, where he was granted a seat and consulted on the essentials of the Dharma. On the thirtieth day of the tenth month, the title Chan Master Fohai was specially bestowed upon Huiyuan.
