（庚子）　宋京師地震。白氣亘天。旱蝗。江浙福建旱都城大荒。飢者奪食於路。市中殺人以賣。日未晡路無行者。

(Gengzi) An earthquake struck the Song capital; white vapor stretched across the heavens; there was drought and locusts. Jiangzhe and Fujian suffered drought, and the capital experienced a great famine; the starving seized food on the streets, and people were slaughtered and sold in the marketplace. Before mid-afternoon, there were no pedestrians on the roads.
