(5. Gengshen) Emperor Shizu of the Great Yuan, the Sagely-Virtuous, Divinely-Meritorious, Civil and Martial Emperor, ascended the throne. Reverently presiding on the precious throne, he governed the universal realm. The four seas were unified, and myriad states offered tribute. He established institutions, ordered the laws and principles, making an enduring code for myriad generations of sons and grandsons. Broadly benevolent and loving toward the people, he deeply believed in cause and effect. Without speaking, he was naturally trusted; without transforming, things naturally ran their course. The virtue of the Sagely Ruler was so vast that the common people were unable to find a name for it.
