22.15

（四）　聖旨就大都大憫忠寺。焚燒道藏偽經。除道德經外。盡行燒毀。遂命大都報恩禪寺林泉倫長老下火。謝恩畢拈香云。佛心天子憫眾生。恐墮三途邪見坑。箇裏了無偏黨處。就中朱紫要分明。所以道聖鑑無私天機莫測。既來頌德。敢不酧恩。此香端為祝延。

(4) By imperial edict, at Great Minzhong Monastery in Dadu, the forged scriptures of the Daoist canon were burned. Except for the Daodejing, all were completely burned and destroyed. Elder Linquan Conglun of Bao'en Chan Monastery in Dadu was commanded to apply the fire. Having expressed gratitude for the imperial grace, he took incense and said: 'The Son of Heaven with the Buddha's mind pities sentient beings, fearing their fall into the pits of heterodox views in the three paths. Herein there is no partiality whatsoever; within this, the vermilion and purple must be clearly distinguished. Therefore it is said: the sage's insight is impartial, and heaven's workings are unfathomable. Having come to praise virtue, how dare I not repay this benevolence? This incense is solely offered to pray for longevity:'
