帝問帝師云。施食至少。何能普濟無量幽冥。帝師云。佛法真言力。猶如飲馬珠。
The Emperor asked the Imperial Preceptor: 'The food bestowed is minimal; how can it universally deliver the boundless denizens of the netherworld?' The Imperial Preceptor said: 'The power of the Buddha-Dharma’s true words is just like the horse-watering jewel.'
