帝命皇后娘娘。鎮國寺行香。后問眾僧云。諸處放光。此處何無。言訖定光塔上毫光燭天。終日不散。
The Emperor commanded the Empress to offer incense at Zhenguo Monastery. The Empress asked the assembly of monks: 'Light shines in various places; why is there none here?' When she finished speaking, fine rays of light atop the Dīpaṃkara Pagoda illuminated the sky and did not disperse all day.
