帝禦北征。護神現身陣前。怨敵自退廣濟大師。皇宮親侍日久。禮誦不輟帝深賞讚。賜以放光佛像。命敬侍供養。

When the Emperor went on a northern campaign, a guardian deity manifested his form before the battle lines, and the enemy retreated on their own. Great Master Guangji had personally attended upon him in the imperial palace for a long time, worshipping and reciting without ceasing. The Emperor deeply praised and admired him, bestowed upon him a light-emitting Buddha image, and commanded him to venerate, attend upon, and make offerings to it.
