8.40

（壬辰）　魏文成帝𤀹改興安（景穆帝長子。先太子晃被害。立吳王。改元正平。十月一日吳王亦崩。立太孫。濬晃之子也。既立有人君之度。視前昏失復弘聖道。在位十二年。壽二十六崩太華殿也）。

(Renren) Emperor Wencheng, Jun, of the Wei changed [the era name] to Xing'an. (Eldest son of Emperor Jingmu. Earlier, Crown Prince Huang had been killed; the Prince of Wu was enthroned and changed the era to Zhengping. On the first day of the tenth month the Prince of Wu also passed away, and the Imperial Grandson was enthroned. Jun was the son of Huang. Once enthroned, he possessed the bearing of a ruler; observing the previous dark errors, he restored and propagated the sage's way. He was on the throne for twelve years and passed away in the Taihua Hall at the age of twenty-six.)
