（丁巳）　順帝準改昇明（字仲謨。小字智觀。明帝第三子。蕭道成為司空總軍國事。戊午三月以太傅為相國。又加丸錫。遂禪位于道成在位八年）。

(Dingsi [477 CE]) Emperor Shun, Zhun, changed the reign era to Shengming. (Courtesy name Zhongmo; childhood name Zhiguan; third son of Emperor Ming. Xiao Daocheng served as Minister of Works, overseeing military and state affairs. In the third month of the wuwu year [478 CE], as Grand Preceptor, he was made Chancellor of State and further granted the nine distinctions. [The Emperor] then abdicated the throne to Daocheng, having reigned for eight [months].)
